Dish is a standout in Lincoln for anyone who appreciates locally sourced, flavorful meals. We started with the garlic oyster mushrooms, which were absolutely incredible—so rich and savory. The sesame glazed pork belly was another perfect starter, tender and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our server, Evan, made the evening even more enjoyable with his fun, bantering style that helped us pick just the right dishes. And the grand finale? The butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce—don’t skip it, even if you’re not celebrating a special occasion. It’s the kind of dessert that makes a night memorable. A must-visit spot for food lovers in Lincoln.

My husband and I had the pleasure of getting to try Dish! We are from Pennsylvania, but he happened to be in Lincoln Nebraska for work and I knew that we had to make it here one night for dinner. Absolutely everything was incredible, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was fun and clean, and I loved that you could see the kitchen! The drinks were delicious! The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best we have ever had. I loved that each dish was so different and artfully plated. The flavors were incredible and if I lived in Lincoln, I would be at this place as much as possible for dinner!

We had our first experience at The Dish on October 28th and couldn’t be more pleased. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The entree choices are not like any I’ve experienced in any other restaurant. Our wait staff (Evan and Daisy) could not have been more helpful or attentive. If you are looking for a relaxing, excellent dining experience, I would highly recommend The Dish. You will not be disappointed!

This place is amazing! Some of the best and most interesting cocktails and food I have had in recent memory! So many different flavors combined perfectly. Laid back and super friendly service, we really enjoyed having Ebben as our server, the exact right mix of friendly, professional and classy. Worth a trip to Lincoln or if you live here you are lucky!

Amazing everything, all impecable!!!! They were all very nice and kept checking on us constantly. The dishes were all very flavorful. Good portions. Anniversary dinner-We had a great time

Overall great atmosphere. I like that the menu changes and everything is sourced locally. Our waiter was great. Appetizers were delicious. The food was very rich. The portions are large.

We haven't had a Fancy Pants meal in Ages! For our Anniversary my husband told me to pick anywhere in Lincoln. Last time we were at DISH was nearly a year ago. I checked their ever-changing menu and it was loaded with plenty of current options! Made a reservation and we ended up at the same table by the window. He had researched wine options ahead of time, they have an extensive list online so he knew exactly what to order. Started with the Seared Cauliflower which was seriously like Top 5 most Gorgeous plates I've ever seen. It contained pickled grapes and watermelon radishes, several sauces including a white chocolate garnish. Our server realized they were probably gonna lose a hand if they took it before every drop was eliminated. Also the Potatoes! dish which included 4(!!!) different preparations. My husband loved the milk poached and chile fried varieties. The mash was tied with my other favorite in town and those were easily the Best sweet potatoes I've ever had! We were able to order the bacon on the side so he could top his helping. The precision on the dice was noteworthy! For an entree my husband decided on the Seared Striploin. He said it was absolute perfection! Covered in a beet reduction, also included enoki tempura, grilled leek, and that amazing mash. Another plate that was practically licked clean. He could not have been happier! I got the Farrotto. Think Risotto but farro (wheat grain) instead of rice. Butternut squash, mushrooms, onions, pecans, notes of citrus, and the best execution of kale I've had. I still had half to take home. We decided to check out the Dessert menu since we were celebrating. The Blood Orange Chocolate Bars were calling our names. Every component was delicious and unique but when combined it was phenomenal! I ended with a Cocktail, the Garden Sunset, which was kinda like a Bloody Mary without all that pesky tomato getting in the way 😆. There are only 3 or 4 places in this town that I would consider Top Tier fine dining. You Will Not find more attentive, supreme service. We were taken care of by Ebben who not only was on top of it, but perfectly matched my antics as well 💜. They are trained to always be one step ahead. The chef/owner here is Rachel McGill. She is a James Beard Award nominee and former Chopped contestant. The attention to detail is absolutely unmatched!
